did Karachi-Lhr-Isb-Murree-Multan-Karachi in Nov 2022 with family in my tiny manual alto660cc. experience was awesome and you will enjoy the trip alot.
karachi to Hyd is all ok and motorway drive. once you take left from Jamshoro, all the way till Sukkur, there were excellent, good, bad and worst patches at that time however carpeting was being done and by now all must be ok. road/highway is not very wide and two way traffic moves on a single road so you cannot speed up. also you need to be extra careful as road is full of trucks/cars/chinchis/bikes/buffalows/donkey carts as it passes through small cities. petrol pumps are both sides and you can easily fill from anywhere and usually credit cards work. i would recommend stopping a night at RYK or Multan and then move fresh in the morning. there were no petrol pumps for a very very long stretch of motorway after crossing multan, so ensure your tanks are full from M5 (after Sukkur's full fill). baqi, Google Maps zindabad!!!
