after a month of planning I had decided to visit gilgit / hunza / khanjrab pass just right after eid.. and planned to leave on 16th june 2018.. but God's plans are always better and suitable for us.. my ride broke down just a day before eid.. and had to push the itinerary forward for 10 days. got the engine fixed in a week and then planned to leave on 6th July 2018.. so left karachi with my mom , wife and 2 sons on 6th July's morning by 6 oclock.. my prado behaved well on highway.. and we reached bahawalpur by 9 o'clock evening of 6th july. odo while leaving home...

good thing was there was no issue of police nakay across sind... I saw motorway police all the way from khi to bahawalpur and further up.. I went all the way peacefully..

last time in 2015 whn I went to Kashmir from karachi I was robbed by thm (Kala peela uniform) at Moro and ghotki.. in total I had to pay 7500 to these robbers .

road condition is excellent all the way to punjab...... I did not experience any issue..

so reached bhawalpur on 6th July at 9:30pm and straight went to Desert Grill restaurant (one of the finest near millad chowk) and after dinner went to the Motel Paradise Inn situated at Model Town C , bahawalpur.

6th july - Khi to Bahawalpur = Total Kms 887 - Travel Time 13 hours - Night Stay at Motel Paradise inn
7th July - Bahawalpur to ISB = Total Kms 636 - Travel Time almost 11 hours - Night Stay at I/81
8th July - Islamabad to Naran = Total Kms 280 - travel time almost 7.5 hours - 2 nights stay at PTDC Naran
10th July - Naran to Islamabad = Total Kms 285 - travel time 7 hours - 4 nights stay at Hotel Reveira F-8
from 10th till 13th - Islamabad ..went to offer jumma prayers at Faisal Masjid.
went to pir suhawa and said pur village , visited few relatives in Pindi area
14th July - Islamabad to Bahwaplur = Total 640 kms Travel time 13 hours - Night Stay at Motel Paradise Inn
15th July - Bahawalpur to khi = Total Kms 861 Travel time 14 hours with 4 stops .

Total Diesel consumed around 490 ltrs.

next day i.e. 7th july 2018 after resting well at bahawalpur.. started the second lag of journey to Islamabad.. left bahawalpur at 7 o clock in the morning.. the scenery of panjab while travelling to Islamabad was awesome all the way green and superb landscapes. after stopping at few spots reached islamabad at 9:30 pm.. refill the diesel tank near blue area and headed towards guest house.
