Karachi to Swat by Road Trip on Khyber

Salaaam....

I've 15-20 days holidays in june-August. We are 4 family Members i.e. 2 adults and 2 children ages 10 years.

So planning a trip/Tour from Karachi to SWAT By Road via Suzuki Khyber Model 95.

Need Advice for

1. Route/Directions, As I've checked some buses go there without touching of Lahore side and they are
   Charging just Rs.2,400/- per head and it is 18-20 Hours route.


2. Road conditions for Kybyer type cars.


3. CNG/Petrol availability.

I am checking the route from Google MAP but is it ok ???
Any one went there by road ????

the best possible route is
Karachi > sakhar > rahim yar khan > bahawalpur > multan > khanewal > sahiwal > lahore > via mtorway kalar kahar > taxila khanpur dam visit > topi visit tarbela dam > swabi >>>enter sawat... hurrayyyyyy

u have two options from swabi ..

1-swabi to buner pass and china
2-swabi to mardan takhat bhai >bat khela > saidu sharif.....

it is just 17 Hours route...really....

Amir it seems that you are not fimilier with routes etc .... I suggest you not to take your own car. Time showen on google is not real time ... it will take you almost 22 hours as you are with family and you need to have stop overs. and follow the blue route....
CNG availibility is always an issue in Punjab you need to check the schedule before leaving

its my first time to plan By Road, so will go to Lahore first and then will go to other areas......

It seems difficult to reach swat in 1 days from Khi.
You should stay at RYK or Multan for 1 night then go head to swat.
Your rout should be
Khi-Sukhar-RYK-Bhl.Pur-Multan-Faisalabad-M3-M2-M1-Mardan-Malakand-Mingora
You can visit Lahore in return leg.
