As always a delight to see your post and being reassured that there still are some of us who dare to experiment and thus learn.
BTW what is so serious about fork oil, what it only can do is, either soften or stiffen up the forks and if you don't like it pour it out and put in some different concoction. After all one can only learn by one's mistakes (Daagh nahi to sikhna nahi!).
Regarding experts, to me the only ones are those who learn from their hand-on work, otherwise these days "Google University" can churn out instant armchair experts!

P.S. I have many a times used Sewing machine oil (White Oil) for this purpose to very good effect.

When you apply brakes on a motorcycle the inertia causes the center of gravity of the motorcycle to shift towards the front. The front suspension comes into play and a good and consistent system can save or take your life. We all know most of the accidents happen not while one is accelerating but mostly when one is braking.

So my friend it is important...... using non hydraulic fluids in the forks is a safety hazard. Non hydraulic fluids such as white oil which you mentioned do not have anti foaming agent and will foam up on vigorous use..... this foaming result in a inconsistent system.

ATF and brake oil both are hydraulic fluids.

Sir please have a look here... You didn't do anything wrong ... A few months earlier when we rebuilt my Kawasaki Sports' front forks, we blended the oil in the given ratios and filled exactly with 150ml in each leg ...

The possible reason to my non-expert mind may be, there is more than enough void in fork for oil to work and rarely enough jarring to foam it up or most probably due to our not acquaintance with this foaming theory.

Central pipe needs small patch replacement, I don't know this way of repair is good or not.

After repair chassis paint, then normal spray paint.

Last time when I visited faisalabad, I went to yusuf autos, and mr.yusuf had me try his GS150 with a custom oil poured in front shocks. I took a ride and found the shocks to be extremely responsive. Later he referred me to the oil store where he got his oil from and I bought myself half a litre, though I still haven't tried it due to my busy schedule. Will InshaAllaah pour it next month

Thats your genuine swing-arm right? Its a revelation to me actually seeing GI pipes on motorcycle swingarms.
IIL do make steel pipes and the marking suggests its GI pipe of M grade..... when I say grade.... I mean gauge/thickness of the pipe.... I believe M is the 2nd thickest pipe available in the market..... bought the same M grade few years back to get a water connection.

These pipes are quite tough but a little too brittle..... but then again.... they need to be brittle for a swingarm.

Make sure the bushings are really well lubed and the centre axle only tightened with the rider on the bike, an easy way to do it is to mark a relative point on the machine (motorcycle) at ride ready position. Now park on service stand and undo the rear shocks so they dont spring. lower the chassis to the required position and tighten the swing arm.

You can also do this easily if you have another person to help you. You sit on the bike and the helper tightens the nut.

After removal of original coating from the swing arm, these IIL-M stamps were jaw dropping for me.

Because I use these pipes in my house for water lines.

I don't think this is something at Japanese specifications.

And after repairing I am noticing a change in its angle too.
