Kawasaki GTO 125, Time to Time Small Repairs/Cleaning

New idea is to cut a round glass from an optician.

Asking to make a center groove on the edge to place an O ring.

and finally press fit this glass in the window.

the drawing/gig where inner circle shows the depth of the groove.

any suggestions from members please.

printout accuracy depends highly on printer and settings used. i think a qualified optician should be able to cut a glass with the specs only.

Arsalan sb you are very right, let's see what happens this time.

printout accuracy depends highly on printer and settings used. i think a qualified optician should be able to cut a glass with the specs only.

Hoping for the right result. As Arsalan sb. said, it should be possible for an optician to do the work. If you want to avoid making a grove in the glass, you could put the O-ring groove in the housing and have the glass with flat side (easier for the optician). See sketch below.

Your option is good as well.

First shall try to make a grooved glass, and if could not then will do as you explained.

Placed a rubber ring and grinding with small stone grinder.

Fitted with the help of silicon oil.

This is a test fit.

nice work, but please make sure all trace of silicone oil is removed from the brake system otherwise the rubber parts will get damaged. Brake fluid is not freindly with silicone oil.

It would have been best to use the pink brake assembly grease that is sold by toyota/suzuki.
