The original design legacy of this goes back to 1982 with the original Kawasaki GTO - it had no numbers, just called luxurious sports under the GTO badge. It later on was called GTO 110.
The original japanese spec was a rather crazy machine, it had faster mid range acceleration than this one. It also had 5 speeds but were the more traditional

funny fact is when Saif Nadeem Kawasaki closed down, the prices of these bikes shot, A freind of mine who was a motorcycle dealer for SNK sold one black and red GTO125 for about Rs 140,000/- in 2002 - It was an unused and unregistered machine.
