Kawasaki Z900RS import

I would like to know if anyone in Pakistan owns the Kawasaki Z900rs. I want to purchase this bike and would like to meet them to talk a little and get a general idea of how the bike behaves in Pakistan before I do.

Also, kindly let me know of reliable people in Lahore who can import this beauty for me with a good price.

As far I know there is a ban on importing bikes till next auto policy is announced.

the procedure is the same, proof of money trail and original passport of sender,

Once all the taxes and levies are paid, the landed cost is somewhere beyond exorbitant and obscene, by necessity and design I suppose.

Yes, I've asked Sunny Bhai of Torque Motorsports about the costs of the import and he said the import will cost over 1.5 lakh and they can get it easily from Canada or USA but if I buy bike from Thailand it will come quicker so I think the import issue is settled however I am so far not able to find someone in Lahore who already owns this bike to see how easy it is to maintain it.

I have however seriously started to consider a GS 500 (used) instead thinking it might be cheaper to maintain etc and our local mechanics might be able to do the job.

The particular series will cost you around 2 millions PKR in Pak with all duties and taxes.
