nopes, was not upto my expectation due to interior paint shade and it was not finished in my time line. disposed off some boys are using it now.

Now that hurts... I mean after putting in so much efforts.. I was calculating the time consumed, its took around 9,10 months for completion. So did u sell it in ur price or lesser than that ?

And u r right because the looks of the car is determined by quality of paint job. I'm planning to do it reddish sort on it. And interior would be all black except for ceiling which is offwhite.

I also tried to keep it her to stock color which was mustard type but I didn't like that color at all. Car looks good with red and black combination and appeals as well..

please share the current pics outter metal & inner cabin. If you are planning change in color & lower the suspension i'd say choose a color in MATT finish, with same color wrap over cosmetics. The car oem wheel size is 13 over the NEW M.A Jinnah road near dawood college you can find a variety of size 13" deep dish wheels to take up to 195/85/R13 rubber. This car can take size 14 wheels with upto 210/85/R14 over stock suspension without any drag to wheel well

Both 88 Honda & 72-74 Corona are scarp. Parts are pricey if at all available. Scrap yards are selling parts for these 2 vehicles at price of NEW Lawn Mowers

As far as wheels r concerned, I'm planning to put in deep dish type with either 13 or 14". Regarding color, don't u think Matt will fade the look of the car. Matt looks good on wide body cars as mark 2. And what color u suggest for Matt finish?

while doing a restoration I prefer doing it STOCK resto. doing a rebuild to choice anything which can be done without butchering is fine.

MATT Finish fading ?? really ? all else is about personal liking. Regretfully can't offer any suggestions further, It is your money so it shall be purely your choice

Okay.. Today is Friday and we Installed the gearbox yesterday but didn't get a chance to take a ride.. testing time of 7 days is given by the shershah guy but my mechanic has injured his leg while cmg down the stairs. I hope he gets well soon and start working again :-)..

Meanwhile, the dashboard and the seats will be ready by tomorrow perhaps.. for that I'm anxiously waiting to c ..

After when the test drive is successful (inshaAllah) , ill then be clearing the engine bay and trunk for complete paint job. So far, things are going fine as I don't want any haste in it .

Stay tuned for new pics ..

Pics as of today... Gear tested yesterday, all was good alhamdulillah. Now Will remove everything and get it ready for the paint job pre reqs..

yesterday my cousin bought a 1972 corona mark 1 for me in lahore, inside car is total genuine only outside spray. he will drive as it is for two month then i will start some work when i come back to pakistan.. so i just wanted to see your car interior how it is done. plz post pics as its done.

Yes, everything is going on nicely alhamdulillah. Probably by the end of this week I might be getting dashboard and seats. Will upload the pics as soon as I get inshaAllah
