I've instructed the painter not to leave any stone unturned in the making, especially the linings ..

Next step is painting of interior, installing the driver seat , engine fixing and installation, and then driving for a while to get it running.. inshaAllah

I need to make sure everything is operational ans serviceable before final paint is done . Braking system, pipe routing etc etc

No figure can be given on these old cars it all depends what state it is in currently, I have seen them from 1.5 all the way up to the 1.0 mil.

Generally people think they can get parts for these old classics just off the shelf
You have to do a lot of hunting and khwari only then you will get them and the prices for the second hand junk parts are on par with brand new parts

Interior got painted completely. Will get everything installed (inside only). Engine to b made operational. Exterior is ready to b painted but will be done after engine is running good and there's no mechanical or electrical issues.

I wouldnt recommend installing all the interior bits just yet. When the exterior is going to be painted, the painters would need to move the car here and there and their paint-laden hands and clothes would make the interior dirty. That and the fact that while painting the exterior, over spray could go inside no matter how good they mask it and cause further headache. I'd recommend you to just install the dashboard and get the wiring done and just one seat so that the car can be tested and install the rest of the things once the exterior is painted, cut and polished.
