I think they should be ok. Just check the warranty and ask about where the after sales centre is located in Karachi. I too wanted to buy a Kenwood fridge but eventually I bought an LG as I had an LG fridge before also. As for washing machine, previously i had one made by Fast (an unknown Chinese company) and it was awesome!! But after 10 years of great service I sold it and bought a Haier machine. Not as good but ok. So just visit Makro, Metro and Hyperstar as well as Abdullah Haroon Road electronics market to get an idea. And while at it also visit Shahbaz Commercial area. Some good shops there also. Then you can make a choice.
