Congratulations bro! Mashallah from the pictures it looks like a clean swap is underway.

Have you gotten adequate reinforcements done around all the foundations? From my experience, the chassis shell was not strong enough and required reinforcement around all foundations to withstand the additional pressure these engines push onto them.

Yar as seen in this thread, denting work had been done already so engine bay was strong. As for the forces that'll be exerted by the engine for that will be getting a crossbar for under the car and a strut bar. Hopefully they'll help. Crossbar ka mechanic keh raha tha tight kernay walay banaein ***, which can be tightened every 2 or 3 months. He said that type will be better. I am taking his word for that, because I think he knows what he's doing.

For an easy fit I got a Simota cone filter fitted by using a flexible pipe. Cost for it all was 2k i think (1200 for the pipe and 8oo for the filter)

Yesterday visited the exhaust guy, he says that the pipe size should be 1.75" says if its more than the car will make that muffler sound. Well I don't want the sound, want the car to be silent but the problem is the pipe size for the G15A or the exhaust system which came with the engine is 2" now that is what's making me uncomfortable, will 1.75" work fine? I don't want the sound but I don't want that at the cost of performance no matter how small that may be.

Also got the simota Air filter for 1.4k.

Bought the speedometer yesterday. It cost me 3.5k will take my meter for Rs 500 -_- anyways I think 3.5k is not bad.

Running a G15 motor and not wanting the sound ... To each his own I guess.

I was running a 2.5 inch straight pipe with 4-1 headers on my G16 motor and loved the sound of the exhaust!!!

I feel 1.75 inch piping would impact the performance. Go for 2.25 inch piping (at least to ensure performance levels) and couple it with a muffler off a bigger car (eg: civic or corolla) to keep the sound levels low. This way you will retain the performance without the "noise"

Yup have decided to go for the 2.25" the problem is the 1.75" piping might be installed by now have yet to call the mechanic. Anyways I guess will be doing that. Only piping ki cost kitni hoti hai? 6.5k ki baat hui thi for exhaust system. abb agar piping change keraun tau kia scene acceptable hai?

P.S: Won't mind thori bohat sound though bus should be decent

G15 will fit but will require a bit trimming of the front cross brace - just like when fitting a G13B - GTi engine.

The rest- all will work. Make sure you get your engine installer to make you a cross bar for under the car to tighten up the front. GTi had those.

If someone want to install G15A in Cultus would it also need trimming or it would fit just bolt on. Because a certain trim of Japanese Cultus came factory fitted with G15A Engine.

Nice choice of engine. G15A offers power as well as economy. Can be used with CNG. The APV is coming with the same engine so parts wont be a problem as well.
Have you also changed the axles due to the engine swap?

^ Thnx bro. Hopefully won't need to benefit from the fact that its parts are available Anyways for now the CNG plan is a no go. If hopefully I get 15+ km/l on highway(since my travelling is on Islamabad Expressway) then no CNG.

Yes axles were changed. The left side axle( If looking from the front) was used of some JDM 660 cc car and the right axle was used of a baleno, they were used just the way they were no alterations of any sort was done, no joints no nothing.
