Khyber Carburetor replacement with EFI and throttle body kit ... Is it possible?

Aslam u Alaikum,

I have been using three cars, all are carburetor engine and all are having big problem while running on petrol. Due to pathetic petrol quality, consumption of petrol has been gone wild. Khyber from few month gone from 14/litre to 8 km / litre and charade gone from 12/ litre to 6/litre .... I have almost got carburetors check from all over lahore ... Carburetor s of both are in good condition but all of them says i have to use hi octane with 60-40% ratio... No other way to bring back the average consumption.

Only EFI engines can sustain even on low quality petrol due to thr auto adjustment with the help of oxygen sensor....

So guys anyone out here done sumthing as remedy ???

Not possible.you will need to install tons of sensors with ecu

i have heard that the head can be swapped with a tbi setup , i think that has only one injector but it is efi

To rein the engine properly and efficiently the computer/controller attached with the engine constantly monitors various processes going on inside the engine and for this it needs feedback from the various processes happening around and this is possible only with the help of sensors that are attached to the engine. Then there are actuators all around which obeys the order passed on to them by the ecu.
It might be possible but don't seems practical.

i have heard that there is a version of g10 whose head is bolt on on the carby g10 block @xulfiqar might be able to shed light

Yep swaping engine can solve the problem... How ever i am now mixing up high octane and now average got better recently travelled from motorway to Faisalabad on Petrol AC on khyber... And avg is now at 15.5 km per litre....

Dear g16b will bigger for khyber body.. Bit heavier as well... I m not into sprinting or racing so i think wl try for g13b with front bigger disc breaks to control breaking as well

if you really want to convert it to fuel injection then you can easily buy the TBI version of the G10 engine along with all wiring and ECU, after that its a pretty simple job.

Guru! Any information about availibility of G10 TBI system in Pakistan. My friend wants to convert his swift 1989 to an EFi one. Help in this regard will be highly appreciated.
BTW google is also unable to anwer much about this TBI.

AFAIK xulfiqar told its carb of daewoo racer with mpfi system
