Khyber Engine Overhaul

@Xulfiqar sir Assalam o alaikum..i want to ask you some question please answer me i will be highly obliged...i have a suzuki khyber and it needs it engine overhaul because its consuming engine oil and now i think it is much faulty because even i have changed plugs 3 times in a week while in hilly area because i found excessive oil on spark plugs and the car lost it power when spark plugs were full of oil..the local mechanic installed some advancer to one plug but it was a failure because due to that it broke down (literally that plug with advancer broke down into 2 pieces 2 times while moving uphill, then i removed the advancer)...
So my question is shall i go for overhaul? My mechanic will overhaul but he is against thermostat valve and auto fan and as i read most of your threads and replies where you stated that thermostate valve and auto fan is mandatory and the mechanic says (ye purany engines hai esmay koi nahe lagata)
Please ellaborate me about engine overhaul and what should i do, the main SOP

find another mechanic, tear down the engine and inspect whats wrong, replace or repair as necessary.

I rebuilt my Khyber's engine almost four years ago.
I am using it with thermostat valve and auto fan.
AC remains on during the summer season.
Engine going strong with absolutely no loss of engine oil.

Few days back, a guy with Khyber came to us complaining of coolant overflow. I did ctest and found out there's a coolant to compression breach, therefore told him all the scenario. We fixed the problems & replaced gasket & he was really happy that everything was on auto & thermostat valve was placed. So we always install tstat & auto fans.
