A 1992 Khyber for instance may cost you around 1.8 - 2.2 lakh, which is a better choice since you'll be saving almost half the money.

A 2000 model Khyber in excellent condition costs around 400k in Islamabad.
Regarding problems then yes its an old model which will need mantainence and can be a headache if the previous owner did not took good care of it.
If you plan to restore it completely i-e denting painting plus interior work then an older model would be a better buy.

agree with bango.. buy older one for 200k and than do get the required work in supervision of ur self. by doing that you would be aware of what type of problems you've solved. the total package wont cost u more than 250k for a hassle free car.
