Bro sometime while tunning my mechanic put little engine oil(1or 2 drops) into carborator and then he pour petrol in carbo for cleaning
Is he doing right or not?

In CNG car's they usually pour in some oil in Carburetor to keep it lubricated...
Otherwise for cleaning the Carburetor, Carburetor cleaner spray is used.

Yes some time he use carbo cleansr instead of petrol

Lekin mainay jo suna tha wo yehi ha k valve seats ko thora sa carbon up karnay k liye aur Carburetor k throttle blades (butterfly) ki shafts ko lubricated rakhnay k liye kartay hain kyun k gas to bilkul dry hoti ha uss me petrol ki tarha ki ye lubrication nahi hoti.

I am also using CNG in my Khyber since 2005 and never saw my mechanic using engine oil on carburetor.

Oil (very small quantity) is put in carburettor for head valve or valve seats lubrication as cng is dry fuel. It's ok practice if done once in a while.

Best to convert on petrol on weekly basis to keep system running and valve lubricated.

such statement from you is very depressing.

CNG stations add up oil and every vehicle cng regulator have a tap screw to drain that oil every 5000 kms which is seldom done by the user.

adding oil from carb causes excessive smoke and carbon residue at exhaust port resulting in random smoke, NEVER ADD ANY LUBRICANT VIA FUEL INTAKE

Thanks for correcting. Luckily, i never followed though.

What about those slight water spraying into carburettor for carbon cleaning of engine? Never followed that, but just curious.

I saw over YouTube, steam cleaning of carbon or what.

that's de-carbonizing and it steams away in fraction of seconds
