R u sure the noise is from engine ? When i start car in morning its gear bearing make shirr khirrrr sound but when it warmup sound/.noise disappears n after that till next day no noise

Its definitely coming from engine side.

bro i tried to hear but i think oil will not make any difference but wish u all the best n easy solution

I also expect the chances are slim that oil will resolve this problem, however it can prevent/reduce further damage. Placed the order on Zic website for 4L ZIC X7000 10W40/CL4. The website's main page is not working, however it can be accessed if the direct link to the product is used.

The engine oil from ZIC is still not arrived and the main page of their website also not working.

This weekend I took my Khyber to PD Khan from Islamabad. Performance was great.
The route I used is Rawat---Mandra---Jatli---Chakwal---Kallar Kahar---M2---Lilla---PDK
The road from Mandra to Chakwal is double now, very good condition.

On way back, used the following route
PDK---Jalalpur Shareef---Darapur---Jehlum---N5---Islamabad
On way back, as the GT road has bumps and we were five people on board plus CNG cylinder, the rear left shock used to make noise on humps.

Should I replace shock-absorbers or springs? If I use heavy springs, the ride will become stiff and bumpy and most of the time this car has only one or two passengers and I use the other car for long journey.

Check that bushes of balance rod or whatever it is called. It's left side is bolted in body and right side is bolted on torsion bar near to right side shock absorber.
I don't think so that spring would be responsible for this noise.
BTW How old are the shocks?

The rear shocks (new) were installed in 2010.

Then i guess they have completed their life.
New Gabriel pair for rear costs near to 2500/-RS.

The ones I bought were KYB. How is Gabriel in comparison?

I haven't experienced KYB shocks but before i had Tockico shocks at rear and they were way too soft. Gabriel's are good so far i think they are now 3 year old and they are not too hard and not that extra soft either.

The ride comfort also depends on rear springs, I am not using original springs as I have CNG cylinder. I will get the car's suspension checked on coming weekend and see what can be done.

Yeah that could also be the case.
I still have stock springs and no CNG cylinder...

Still waiting for ZIC oil. They have hired CallCourier for Cash on Delivery purposes and they are non professional. Today I called them in the morning. Was able to talk to representative in 4th attempt and she said today you will definitely receive the parcel before 6PM but no one from them came today. Order was placed on Nov 22.

Strange, I never had problems with their delivery service through call courier i always received the oil within 3 day's after placing order.

Today I was on leave so I took my car to mechanic. The mechanic said that rear shocks need to be replaced. Bought Gabriel rear shock-absorbers pair for Rs. 2300/- The fuel gauge was also problematic. I was not able to find original gauge. Bought a good quality Chinese one for Rs. 850/- Just "Asian" is written on it.

After removing old KYB shocks they were examined and found to be very hard. The new Gabriel shocks from Agri Autos are softer. The car has become more comfortable now, however the response with 5 people on board is still to be checked. I have noticed that Gabriel shocks are more in circumference as compared to KYB shocks.

The fuel tank was unmounted to install new gauge. Now it is showing petrol level at around 55 percent. The problem with previous gauge was that sometimes it used to work and sometimes not. The last level shown by old gauge was around 35 percent. So now I don't know which one is correct. I am driving the car on petrol now to see the level when the tank actually finishes.

While I was getting the work done, I inquired the mechanic about expenses if I go for piston pins replacement. He is asking 6K as labor and says that the parts will cost another 6 or 7K. Today he removed fan belt and ac belt but the noise was still there.
