I just bought a 2002 Model Kia Classic. I wanted to know what engine oil should I be using. The ODO doesn't reflect the original mileage but I think it would be above 200k.
Also when I went to purchase the car, it was giving blue smoke on startup and high RPMs. We agreed on a deal that the guy would get the rings and seals redone so that the issue is solved. Upon getting rings done he told that the pistons and the engine itself is good. But fast forward to around 200 km later, the car is still giving blue smoke. There is no decrease in engine oil as of now and the engine performs well. I fell no power loss. The mechanic is saying not to worry and this will go away with 2 3 oil changes. What do you guys suggest in this regard?
