Best try to find its original parts that have been swapped out by idiots, I hope you bought this car extremely cheap as I personally wouldnt have paid anything for such lunatic level work done on a car, Or if Im to buy it, I would bid on it as if it had no engine at all.
The mazda carburettor is easier to repair, tune and adjust than any suzuki carburettor - why the hell did they throw it away and install a damn suzuki carb on it?
The distributor on this engine has a set regimen of overhauling every 10 years to keep the engine peppy and quick on throttle. (speaking from mazda workshop books, not KIA, the KIA books had about 65% information missing)
The major issue faced in Kia Classic and Kia Pride both were the cooling fan fuse melting in the fuse box in the dashboard, The remedy was actually a dealer job where they installed an external housing to install a larger sized and remote fuse holder to protect it from damaging the main fuse box and cleaning the grounding strap to the fender apron inside. Sadly in both cases of these cars in Pakistan the dealers closed up and left the customers on their own, For Pride they were Tawwakal and for Classic they were deewanay.
