Hi,Is there anyone on this forum who has bought the KIA Grand Carnival.
Looking for comments feedback.
It was launched with a lot of hype but nonody has discussed it since.
I don’t expect Kia and Hyundai to badly damage market for Toyota or Honda . The hype will die down as soon as prices and local assembling starts
They have brown field status so import of parts will have less duty so kia, Hyundai, Renault all will be competitive. By 2020 automobile market will be quite different from today
With the rupee losing its value .dont expect it to be any cheap .
Yes nothing will be cheap specially the imported stuff but it will affect all , grande is already 28 lacs showroom price, so relatively new makers will offer better value for money.
Don’t bet on it . My friend is in Hyundai team and they are already talking that prices of cars will be same or more then Honda and Toyota
I was actually looking for an owner's review but the discussion went off a tangent to pricing.
I am going to book a Grand Carnival next week. So was hoping to find someone who has already bought it.
Which one r u booking, leather or fabric seats?
EX. The one with leather seats. This is not the only difference. The LX does not have climate control, sunroof, electric doors and some other stuff.
Indeed. There are differences and price is also one of them. I felt the fabric seats to be way more comfortable than leather ones.
So have you bought it?
I see one almost everyday in Lahore on my way to work. I guess people are buying it
No. Just went for a test drive. Excellent brakes. Noticeably comfortable fabric seats.Very spacious and pleasant interior. Despite a bigger engine, low end torque and acceleration at start is not adequate.
As a whole Grand Carnival looks promising in this price bracket. Best of luck with your purchase, i hope it will not let your down in any aspect.
I see 2 moving around in DHA Lahore and 1 near wapda town very often, look cool!
