awesome offering by Kia straight up,, replying to the rumors and conspiracy theories that it will be exact same tour as it was by kia in early 21st century era,, Kia also lived up to the expectation that it gave a message which says even we are offering CBU, we like to keep it in a price category that it makes sense, the message also says we are not gonna follow the footsteps of big 3 specially suzuki and on the contrary load the vehicle with all the international features rather than making it look like a complete naked car,, also Kia hammers those who were skeptical about the korean quality by offering 4 years warranty,, this is a very good initiative and it keeps my confidence and hopes for this company still alive...

It had a reasonable price for it's features, i still think they will go into local production and launch a variant with a 4cyl engine as well. That will probably be priced at around 3.5m by the looks of it, good value.
However the main cars that will sell in Pakistan will be a sedan and maybe the sportage so thats where they will have to price reasonable because i don't think there is a big demand for mpvs in Pakistan.

Kia has returned with unexpected surprise; a 3.3 liter V6 engine which is exclusively made for North America and GCC markets! High fuel consumption could be a kind of deal breaker thing for millage obsessed consumers but it would sell better than Suzuki Kizashi and Grand Vitarta

Carnival also comes with 2.2 liter diesel engine which delivers much better fuel economy but less powerful than 3.3 V6

Diesel won't be too popular because i think the diesel quality is sub par. Isn't it available with a 4cyl petrol engine anywhere?

except for 4x4 capabilities, buyers will have option for carnival or fortuner. it would be slightly more successful than fortuner for families and tourers.
this is a good start. but offering a small car would have made more sense. maybe that have more profit margins in carnival than small hatchback.

any new small hatchback will be disastrous for suzuki, look at their price increases.

1 small car car can challane wagon r swift and cultus all at the same time.

Well... Bro I think, the price is quite reasonable. Aap isski build quality, features, safety, along with many other features daikhein, you won't regret the price. It's an 11 seater minivan, aur kya chaheye? Kia / Hyundai are equally at par with Toyota, Honda and many other top-ranking brands, so, they shouldn't be taken as "Halka"!

Secondly, agar yei cheez Honda ya Toyota itni hi price p introduce karwatay, then kya tub b hamara aesa hi reaction hota?

Thirdly, Kia will definitely be bringing affordable cars and hatchbacks, but they have focused on the top end of the spectrum for the time being because of no competition in this class. They are here to do business, so, have rights to target those areas which are more profitable as compared to other.
Kia Grand Carnival is having no competitor here in 11 seater Minivan category.
Let it's competitors come. We will have better options to choose from, at more reasonable prices. I.A.

Market dynamics have changed a lot during last 02 decades, and they are well aware of it.
Kia / Hyundai are Well established International brands, they will soon make their name here too. I.A.

Agar unho'on ney tajurbay karnay hotay then wo kuj CBU units import kartay and unhein market mein launch kar k pehlay feedback laitay. Chall jatay to theek, otherwise, pack-up kar k wapis chalay jatay.
This thing didn't happen. They are here to stay, and that's why they started building their manufacturing / assembling units first. They are now in the process of importing some CBUs and selling them, and when their units will be operational by 2020-2021, they will be fully "IN" in the market, with respectable name and confidence of masses in them.
