Exchange rate unchanged since last 3 months at around $156. Still price is kept so high. This is absurd. At this price, it would make little sense for anyone to prefer Picanto over Suzuki alternates that have a lot more parts availability across the country. This pricing just gave a license for Suzuki to further increase prices of Cultus, Wagon R, Alto etc. Once their prices increase by about 2 lacs, only than Picanto would be attractive.

Given the amount of stuff stripped off from the car + an old gen model, it signals to be a wagonr competitor more than a cultus competitor but if the prices coming out are correct than the car has failed even before launch.
If I'm going to dish out same money as a cultus, I need a better car than cultus from a new automaker.
This model of cultus is also obsolete in other parts of the world.
how is it a wagonR competitor? Picanto comes with proper automatic transmission. Cultus AGS is a very bad driving experience. What extra features does cultus AGS has that Picanto doesn't have is still to be seen
All general tyres are horrible mate and you know it they dont even bother engraving make week and year on their tyres. If its an odd tyre size like alto and cultus one wont be able to find imported new tyre of good make.

someone noticed, engine bay is quite messy, wires or piping around, no proper covering of engine.
