PAKISTANIS are Happy to buy dicontinued models like City, Elantra, Corolla. Picanto auto booked till March22 and they are not taking further bookings.
Cultus is very good option if they provide same build quality as available all over the world.
As far as spare parts are concerned, buying hatchback for city drives so parts availabiltiy of parts will not be an issue also brand new car doesnt require any major maintainence for at least five years and after 5 more years the availability of parts will be much better.

There is a thing called limited supply and shortage of parts chips which is why cars are booked since inventory is not available it has nothing to do with people liking old generations models.

Same is the case with own. Own has absolutely no relation to a car being good or bad or being the hot product. Own is only there when supply is short.

In my opinion, it is a wise choice. After driving Picanto of my friend, i immediately sold my 2021 cultus only 3500 km driven and booked Picanto Manual on August 16,2021 on full payment. Delivery is expected within 30 days. I drove Picanto more than 700 Kms and then decided to opt it. No comparison with Cultus, such a cheep build quality.

Kia is accepting booking of Picanto Manual. on full payment they are delivering cars within 30 days in Islamabad. I also booked on August 16, 2021 on full payment and expected delivery is September-2021.

Guys what is your feedback on the android unit being installed by Kia in Picanto.

i think it costs more than other android units in the market and it is being installed by dealership and not kia themselves.

is there any impact on warranty if we get the player from market? also what is your openion on the performance of the one being installed by the dealership? do the adjust the cost of the one installed by default (Orange light one) in the car?

There's no official Android for Picanto, it must be aftermarket.

Guys any information/help regarding installation of Android Unit and Reverse cam in the car along with its warranty implications will be really helpful.

You can get one from Autojin in 16,500. Installation is very simple. An "ustad" electrician can do it easily. However for reverse cam, they have to splice the reverse light wire to supply signal/voltage to it.. so the electrical warranty voids. But since the engine has electric components, the engine warranty voids too.

I finally received my Picanto A.T on Aug 26th in Karachi which i ordered on March 8th.

As per the showroom, Picanto A.T booking is closed since 1-Aug-2021 and will reopen on 1-Dec-2021.

Hopefully this helps who are waiting or planning to place order.

Seen two Picantos in past two days with either both DRLs off or only one bulb working. Is the life of DRL bulbs so short? Those cars could not be more than a year old max.
