I am booking Picanto-AT from Bank Alfalah, they promised to deliver car in 40 days, while dealership is claiming 5 months, should i trust bank Alfalah? or should i get written statement that you will have to provide me in 40 days as promised, or is that possible that Banks maybe can get car early than normal customers ?

Banks can get cars earlier than normal customers usually. They usually have an agreement with companies for priority delivery.

Banks have cars in their inventory and they'll provide you the car within the time as promised by the bank.

Bank will never ever give you a written statement that they will deliver within 40 days.
Banks do get priority and do get early delivery but keep in mind it will not be 40 days.

If its the "branch staff" promising this time line then dont fall for it. Usually thats what RMs do to get their targets. Make sure you talk to somebody from their auto loan department in their regional office. And get confirmation from them.

Back in the last week of December 2020, I booked my Picanto AT via Bank Alfalah and at the time of depositing the advance, I was told by the officer in charge that I can expect the car to be delivered by mid-February which the dealership bumped up to March and now none of these people are answering my calls and KIA's Facebook page informed me that even May/June is tentative.
