Yes it's a very good engine, have read about it enough to convince the guy to not sell his car for chump change. Instead told him to get it overhauled and slowly build up the car. It pulls great, better than any Khyber or a plain jane Charade. Sounds good too. His mistake was getting it overhauled by a diesel mechanic.
@Xulfiqar BTW, went to Abdul Hameed & sons, met Afzaal, gem of a person, he gave his regards for you.. and yes, had lots of chae. Closing time he saved the last cup of tea for me, very kind of him.
I finally convinced him to lower my car a little, at first he was adament that it would get stiff and all that, then after seeing my persistant determination and some buttering, he gave in
