Guys, the pricing is so bad that we dont even need to discuss it. Let few people buy it and have the taste of haste. Its a big flop. they have to come 2 million for each version. ridiculous. aint they know santafe hybrid pricing?? the 3.5 v doest even have ADAS and is tregistration will be another million or 1.5. stupid KIA marketing team.

2M less would mean 14M for the AWD HEV. In your world they should price a newer gen with a multitude of more features less than the older gen Santa Fe?

The one thing I agree with is the segmentation between V6 and FWD is unclear. They have randomly differing features - FWD has bigger wheels, V6 has 360 cam, and V6 will probably end up costing more than the FWD all things inclusive. Which one is supposed to be the highest version, and why?

Perhaps I am, but I am not digressing. Own is irrelevant to the price discussion. Quite to the contrary, the lower the price the higher the demand, leading to higher premiums.

The whole family likes it but pricing change after buying would really hurt so I am unsure.

Do you think any major drop is expected in next 2-3 months?

I am interested in FWD Hybrid.

Sportage L and Tucson seem like almost the same car but a bit smaller but also much cheaper. Doesn't make sense to spend that much more for a bit bigger size and 2 extra seats unless the 2 extra seats are absolutely necessary.

You mean Sportage and Sorento?

Difference is significant but i also agree that price difference is much more than the size difference.

I meant both Tucson and Sportage L are similar to Sorento. Size difference didn't seem very significant to me and the features, engine, exterior and interior looks are all quite similar. Doesn't really seem worth it spending all that much extra for basically 2 more seats.

Plus Sorento will likely have lower fuel economy as well due to more weight. Sorento also doesn't have much hype in the market. Seems like a likely contender for a huge price drop in the future.

If you don't need 2 extra seats, Sportage L or Tucson seem like a no brainer over Sorento. Almost 4 million rupees extra is way too much.
