There is a reason why glory pro doesn’t have the same hype as MG Kia or Hyundai and also just see the normal glory 580 that has been in the market for 2 years and how many have you seen on the road?
Glory can’t be compared to these cars the only good Chinese cars are MG backed by SAIC and indirectly also proton as it is developed by Geely

Imagine paying 85 lac, when this 2021 exists in the world. Even Honda and IMC make some effort to keep their cars updated. Kia is on another (low) level.

There's a difference of only ~2 inches.
They are in the same class of 7-seater passenger movers, midsize crossovers.
They have almost the same power and torque (2.4L). Only V6 is of a higher category.
They have the same features - in fact, DFSK 580 Pro has more features. Even got a 360* camera.

AND, it all comes at half the price of ancient Sorento. Which looks more like a VAN.

Of course it will trigger the Sorento brigade. Nobody's buying that expensive of a 7-seater Van. Priced at Fortuner category.

If someone really wants to spend 8 million for an old historic generation van, they better get a much better Grand Carnival. More powerful. Better in all aspects.

But

In its current category, Sorento's only competition is DFSK 580 Pro. Accept it or not.

sorry to disappoint, but the way Kia fans are getting triggered shows how bad of a launch this Sorento is.

Imagine launching a 7 seater midsize crossover/Van at 8 million price. Which is competing with a 4.6 million car of the same category.

And the 4.6 mil 7 seater midsize crossover got MORE features than the 7 million one.

The ancient generation of Sorento isn't making things better.

Look up DFSK, it's bigger and better than the Angrezzii MG brand - chinese pretending to be Angrreez. (SAIC subsidiary). And bigger than Geely, which produces Proton/X70.

SAIC, DFSK, Changan are the biggest players producing as good cars as the Koreans.

Of course, Koreans can't match Japanese so don't for a moment think it's the preferred brand anywhere in the world.

It's competing with SAIC, DFSK, Changan for now.

Whats the reliability and longevity of Glory 580? In which market has it proven itself?
Have they fixed the 1.5 turbo not climbing issue? How are their stats compared to Kia/Hyundai in EU, USA, Middle East? How do we know that the tiny Chinese 1.5 turbo will last as long as Kia Sorento? Spec sheet is easy to compare but Kia is a proven brand now, in many major markets. How does that compare with DFSK? Why should anyone trust Chinese with 4.6 million? It seems people are not trusting DFSK with 4.6 million, more Sportage/Tuscon are being sold despite Glory being available at a lower cost.

Cars main yeh thora sa farak overall size main bauhat zayada farak dalta ha.

Uss lehaaz se to corolla aur city ki on papper dimensions main iss se bhi kam farak ha.

But in real life corolla is a lot bigger than city and yaris. And camry is alot bigger than corolla.
