the only reason i hate my honda is the bad fuel or cng averages it gives.

good car under 5 lac budget. but I heard that spectra spark plug wire is around Rs 4000/ n its is very expensive to maintain. as spectra productions is stop , wat about the parts n mechnics???

spectra's genuine plug wire is for 300 Rs. and the second one which is slightly shorter is for 200 Rs.
HOwever if u manage to ruin one of the two coils (which is not easy) then each coil costs 3000 Rs.
BUt u can find the coil from kabaar for Rs. 7-800 Rs. each.

These are all myths that parts are expensive. check the market in Rawalpindi and all other major cities if u dont beleive me.

Recommend me some good and cheap priced Spark Plugs for my Spectra GV, I run my car on CNG, will the 2 and 3-tipped plugs do any good , please reply

Bosch FR-78X 4 tip platinum plus cost 1000Rs for 4 and last twice the mileage of your stock plugs.
try them, u will like them.

platimuns do not cause excess petrol consunption, irridiums do that and they give u noticeable increase in performance as well.
On CNG platinum 4 tips by Bosch are the winner so far.

Bhai sahab, karachi has worst possible quality of gas in Pakistan, if u compare aveage consumtion of any car from karachi and another same one from Islamabad, u will be surprised, even if they have same hardware and maintenance routines.
How much does 1 Km cost u in city?

Spectra seth, the problem actually lies in traffic conditions of karachi, with full filling, I get 75 kms in city and would you believe I get 160- 165 kms on Super Highway.... there is no CNG station on highway... and pure highway itself is 150 kms... never have to switch to petrol... now you can imagine the average i get on long runs...

i hav some qs abt my Spectra. she is 2002 and preety
the prob. now a days i m facing is relating to its coils. i never change its plug wires and coils....

some times when i start it...she vibrates a lot and when i hold the wire going to its coils.. its stablizes.

i checked her up from Hundai workshop in isb. they said the coils faulty...

can u guide me in this regard...from where i can check up my baby and from where i can bought the spare parts...because i m new to isb

i would like to have a look at it. seems like a strange thing. if it gets stable by holding it, it must be a connectivity issue. where do u live? we can tie up and have a mini meet.

Spectra seth im sick and tired of the bad average, the silencer is clean, car is still throwing water in such heat, what the heck should i do man, its giving me an average of 70 kms in 200 rupee fill. (with AC).
On Highway, yesterday it did 135 kms (with AC) with full filling, is it ok ?
Here, full filling is meant by the lights of the CNG indicator twinkling for 10 to 15 kms post filling

CNG lights twinkling for some time is an indicator that some adjustment is needed to the gauge.
Anything below 3 Rs. per Km is not bad for spectra, u can ask the dealerships as well
Average on highway is also very good.
If u try and get better mileage, u will not feel good driving the car, i have tried it myself. u go for economy and everything gets ruined, seems like a rerha

There is another cure
Drive it on petrol for a month and u will love the average u r getting now
