Oh excellent!

Basically, when you open the back cover, you will see a wire clip that holds in place the bulb of the headlight. That clip plays the role of earth as well. That clip in my right headlight is broken and hence the light won't turn on. Just need that

saqib bhai spectra ka cng par air block karni chahiye ya nahi meri gari k half block hai 120km long par karti hai cng+ac 55l pe, is it ok average for spectra

spectra did 32km in rs 100 cng within city with full time ac on.

and it was in a start stop traffic.
in my whole trip, i was even unable to put it in 4th.

Assalam u Alaikum, My name is Ahsan and I am a chemical engineer by profession.

You can consider me a potential Spectra buyer. For this purpose I have been searching internet for the last few days. Till date, I have found this thread as the best place to be when information about Spectra is required. However this is somewhat confusing also. This is quite natural as this thread is spread over ages (almost three years now). I think now there are two categories of people, symbolized by Mr. Spectra and Mr. Aref. The former is of those people who seem to be fan of Spectra from day 1 and there opinion has never changed, while the latter is of those who seem to be were fans of Spectra in the beginning but there opinion has changed over the years. (No offense meant). I would like to know why has their opinion changed.

In short would like you people, especially Spectra and Aref to tell me 05 good reasons to buy/keep a Spectra and 05 reasons for not buying it. I am guy with a budget of around 350-450K and plan to purchase a car in this range, most probably same time next year. Therefore I need your real honest opinion, not any remark just out of frustration. Untill now I have been a real fan of spectra (the car and the man both ) and think its good for people like me, providing good value for money. One can get a power packed car at around 400K.

Please help me as it can help to make best choice or stop me from making greatest blunder.

I always beleive in sharig experiences so the reasons we bought it were:

Value for money

Spacious

Excellent/comfortable suspension setup

Factory Fitted CNG

Cheap routine maintenance

Reasons against it:

Resale value and difficulty in selling

Mechanics are hesitant to work on it

Model discontinued long time ago

Expansive body parts and panels

fuel consumption is equivalent to a 20 lc rupee car

In the end, you wont be able to find a good car because mpst of them are ruined in hands of idiots

i bought 2001 model 3 months before n im very happy wid it, on cng at long rout its consumption less thn alto,my bro hv new facctry fitted alto, we went karachi 650km from here, both on AC+Cng, spectra me 1500 ki gas dali aur alto me 1650 ki, speed was 110 to 120 aur spectra me after markeet cng lagi hui hai, me buhut hee rough use karta hoo but koi major problem nahi aya abhi tak sirf speedo kaam nhi karta tha but mene khud sahi kia battry se direct current dekar ab sahi chalta hai

First of all I thank you guys for your valuable time.

Secondly, what do you say? should I buy one if I am able to find one in good condition? I have few people around me to help with that. As far as resale is concerned, Which ever car I'll purchase, I don't intend to sell it for a good 5-6 years. I think the value of this car won't go below 250-300k. What do you guys say?

As far as fuel consumption is concerned, I think its not bad. I have seen people here mentioning that they get around 100-120 Km in one full tank of CNG. This is the same average which I get from out Alto Vx which I have been driving for the last 05 years.

And whats the issue with parts? Are they totally extinct or atleast available at Dewan Oulets?? And If we compare them with suzuki, honda and corolla, are they 20%, 50% or 100% expensive?

Hope you people understand my point.
