Pls koi bata sakta hai sportage or civicx ka length aur width difference kitna hai because mera parking area main corner pe 1 jaga hai, wahan main apne sportage park karna chatay hu, us jagah civic tu aram sa lag jate hai , but mujhe doubt hai sportage park hu ya na hu... kyun ki corner pe hai wo jagah aur park b reverse main karna parhta hai aur jagah ki width kuch khas ziada nae hai.

Meri sportage sirf 197 km chale hai , tu kya main sport mode pe light pedal sa drive kar sakta hu ? Kyunki i think engine ki running 500 km tak hute hai? 2nd main oil change company sa nae karana chatah aur 1000 km sa pehla oil change karana necessary tu nae hai ?

@Xulfiqar Sir can you guide on the breakin/running of sportage FWD engine.

Bro waisay according to new thoughts running is not required for these new engines. But I did myself upto 1000 KM. Probably, no harm in switching to sports mode but that is not beneficial if you are following running rule.

First Oil change will be due @ 5000 Km by the company. No Oil change due at 1000 KM.
But if you opt Oil change from outside other than company then your warranty will be voided. So to keep warranty intact it is necessary to follow maintenance schedule of Kia Motors...

Who told you that warranty would be cancelled due to oil change?

I bought awd and now have drove it 850km. I have few questions if someone could guide me please.
1: Do I need to get it's first oil change at 1000?
2: Also what if I do it myself and don't take it to stealership? Does it have to do anything with the warranty?
3: Since the car is stock, can I get it's head unit changed?

To keep warranty intact in regards to oil change you need to save the reciepts of the oil and filter you buy.

It has a 5000kms first oil change and subsequent 10000 kms oil changes thereon.

Ask for this statement on letterhead paper and signed by service manager from that showroom, or just an email too but from the service managers address, you can make a lot of money from that paper/email.

We just received our sportage alpha 2 weeks ago.
Just concerned about its fuel economy as right now in city its giving 7-8km/l will this improve?
Have heard that it gives 11-12 on eco mode?

WE have a elantra and It is giving 8km/l in city with Stop and Go Traffic in normal mode, so For a Sportage more than 8 km/l should be difficult imo

Bro it depends upon foot... Lighter the Foot Higher the average and vice versa.

My Sportage alpha now clocked 27000 KM and with light foot I am getting 10-10.5 in Karachi City with ECO Mode On. On Highways with Cruise it is giving me 13.5 @120.

Your vehicle average will be increased. Do analyze Petrol Quality as well... It matters a lot.
