Hello. I own a Kia Sportage AWD 2021 model. I have driven it for 60k kms. Planning to switch from the company engine oil. Is it a good decision? Which oil is recommended? I am thinking of liquimoli 5w30 Special Tec AA. Kindly guide and suggest

Yes LM 5W30 is a good oil and fit for AWD.

Hes past 60k kms and 2 years already.

Warranty is 4 years / 100,000 km I think.
Not getting oil change from the dealership will give KLM a good reason to refuse warranty claims unfortunately. Even though it shouldn’t be this way if the recommended oil grade is being used.

If you keep the invoice of the lube and filter job you had done from outside, then simply get them to contact the lube supplier

Meaning,

If they say that mobil1 is garbage product and destroys engines, get this in writing from them (kia dealership) under letterhead and signature, send it to mobil askari and exxon-mobil support in usa.

Keep yourself involved in it, and you may earn a lot of money from this. Ive done it, it was awesome and it was in Pakistan in 2001. It was a lube product on an industrial constant speed transmission.

The oil they are using is same 5w30 shell helix. They are getting it from shell so you can use the same if youve to get it changed from outside. Secondly even if youre going to get oil changed with genuine filters it wont save you much as its more or the less same from outside too.
