Within City 8-8.5 kmpl (AC is irrelevant)
On Motorway at 120 kms it is 12.5-13 kmpl (Calc multiple times while travelling from RYK to Rwp and back)
Haven't driven on GT rd at 100 but should be approx 13.5-14 kmpl

Finally decided to purchase Sportage FWD. Had booked Grande X and got delivery 3 days back. Drove it for 100 Kms and was done with it. Didn't like it. Now selling it and going for FWD Sportage InshAllah. Will keep seeking guidance from valuable users here

1. How good or how bad is Sportage Immobilizer? Like that of Altis can be easily bypassed, what about Sportage

2. How good is Sportage AC, in comparison to let's say, Corolla (which is chilling). Like in peak summers and in afternoon, how does it perform? If Corolla AC is 10/10, rate Sportage AC please

Dnt know about altis but the push start system normaly uses a very sophisticated transponder with a new code every time.
The thiefs can either steal tour key or use an amolifier to get a key code from a key resting at home

if you are talking about the relay type immobilizer theft, than any car is at risk. The thiefs use a booster to amplify your key signal which is always emitting and copy that. Thats the fastest way to steal immobilizer bag.
Mostly cars are being stolen from home, the thief knows the key is in the house and they use the amp to boost the key signals, copy the code (which is still encripted and hard to decrypt) and than can replicate their own FOB.
That can easily be countered by keeping your car keys inside a faraday pouch while in the house.

just invest in a pouch, a good quality. It should help a lot but you will need to take it out of the pouch to start and open the car.

Lucky motor corp had revenues of 44.4 billion rupees in the 6 months ending dec 2020 and made an operating profit of 3.5 billion in the same period. I think admins should make a separate section for KIA instead of keeping it under "other automakers".

I have no idea about the kia Pak sportage AC. My mother has a picanto and it has a very small AC but she is very satisfied with it she does travel a lot and always says that ac is pretty chiling.
But I have xp'd the sportage climate control in KSA and it functions prettty well for ksa heat. It does switch to outside/inside air continuouly to maintain the temp. so if u dnt prefer ventilation you do need to press the recirculation button once every time you start the ac so that it diesnt switch to outside.

If - If, i got the opportunity to get the SUV type vehicle i would go for Alpha (6 lacs cheaper then full option). Still driving 2007 city with out VSA/Htrac for long and it doesn't have Panoramic roof, Alhamdulillah doesn't driven rashly hence doesn't need VSA.
