The commitment was not any day in April, it was 1st week of April after they said that March delivery just closed before your booking.

Agar more than 2 months time tha delivery main then why did they tell us that we will deliver within 2 months. If we had known we would not have made full advance payment.

Also since you are being the advocate of the company please also tell why their telephone is disconnected... They do not have enough money to pay the PTCL bill?

As Ali said you should relax. The miscommitment was on part of the dealership and not the company. The letter from company says April, so expect it any day in april.

Telephone lines often get disconnected. Keep trying, you might be able to connect soon.
Normally dealerships take full payment when delivery is next month. In your case this has not happened. Ideally you should be given compensation cheque if delivery is done 60 days after your payment.

My cousin booked AWD in December and got his delivery in march as promised.

You can call Head Office at 021 38892076. I have booked ny AWD on 1st March and it was supposed to be delivered sometime in May. They told me that there is a delay of 2 weeks only.

Before jumping to conclusions regarding what I am doing for the company you should know that words of mouth that too from a salesman hold no value, what was committed to you was probably done to lure you.

Totally agreed but the question remains

1. Is the salesperson a standalone entity or is he representing the company?
2. First time I called the company office in Karachi in Feb, All I needed to tell them was the PBO number and they looked it up and had all the information related to the PBO,
   • What date it was issued
   • On Whose name it was issued
   • What date it was issued
   • What Color and
   • Color of the vehicle was mentioned and
   • What was the delivery month.

The 2nd time I called earlier this month they all but denied owning that PBO saying they do not have any record to verify it and even said that they do not have any supervisor.

So the person I talked to the 2nd time not representing the company or the person who had all the information a fraudster when both of them greeted me on the official recorded line of the company?

You would be lucky if you get your vehicle by the end of April. Chip shortage is real, even Ford is struggling with deliveries in U.S.

I was watching a US review of Rav 4 Prime and he said because of shortages its selling on a premium by dealerships.

The Rav 4 Prime is a limited production model. It makes sense for dealerships to ask a premium on those.

Call us waqt disconnect ki jati hy jab connect ho. Have tried with 4-5 different numbers and networks even those of some friends from other cities and everytime call does not connect just like the service is not available.

You can try calling the number (021 - 111 111 542) yourself and if you think that the number is incorrect you can check their website....

I'm booking a Sportage, Black, FWD, in Lahore today. Do you people have any advice for someone who has driven only corolla and city?

• which dealership is best to book the FWD in Lahore (I'm thinking DHA one right now as it's near my house)

• I'm thinking of partial payment since 3.3M remaining in the bank will turn up 50K profit before Aug(they gave me the date of Aug dang too late, but what can I do)

• should I pay via cross cheque or pay order? A cheque is easier for me but would it delay my car delivery? Wondering?

• I didn't feel the wow factor in Sportage coming from City, so I 50/50 convinced as I wanted a Fortuner, but it's out of my range?

• I also never owned a car that pricey. Will FBR trigger an audit? I'm a taxpayer and always have been, but audits are a colossal waste of time.

Please help with kind suggestions for all the questions. Going to genuinely appreciate the help here.

I can comment on last two points. There is nothing special in Fortuner except 4x4 capability. Both Sportage and Fortuner have bland interior, but Sportage is much more comfortable and has panoramic sunroof.

FBR is unpredictable. They do what they want, or what their automated system does. Right now I have 1 open audit which I replied with accounts 3 years ago, still pending. 1 notice of undisclosed income of 66 rs (yes 66 rs , and based on fake transaction FBR made up), and another similar notice to revise the tax return with settlement on that fake 66 rs transaction. You can't stop living your life because of fear of FBR's stupid notices. Buy what you want, just make sure you have declared it properly in tax returns.

For ease of mind, suggest getting the car booked through Company Operated Dealership (Kia Township Lahore).

I checked today bro. There has been no production in March and there will be none in April as well (of FWD at least). Deliveries due in march have been pended till May. I booked in February and my delivery was in May, which has been pended till July
