Yes, Fortuner has somehow has appealed to asian tastes, I find the design very repulsive. It failed badly in Australia cause of the weird design language.

No but even if you go twice a year, a car like this is a blessing. And even if you travel from one city to another, it's a blessing because it's a proper 7-seater with huge cargo capacity.

And by the way you brought Fortuner into discussion. Its a highly uncomfortable vehicle with cramped space compared to its class of vehicles with a insane price tag with cheap quality

Fortuner will be the worst choice for out of city travel as it has the most uncomfortable seats in the world. I actually cancelled my Fortuner booking after experiencing those back breaking seats.

Brother ! Can you please explain what is the concept behind compact Sports Utility Vehicles CSUVs.... Why they gained popularity first in Scandinavia then whole Europe since mid 2000 and now all over the world.

What is the reason behind this Specific Catagory which Incluges:
Tiguan
RAV 4
CRV
Sportage
Tucson
Merc ML series
Audi Q5 and Q3
BMW X3 and X1
Nissan Qashqai
Ford Kuga
Etc.

Specifically these 1.5L to 2.4 L CSUVs.....

Agree with that, but keep aside panoramic roof and front BOTH electric seats and powered tailgate we dont even get a dimming rearview mirror in a 9million fortuner think about it .

Sir Fortuner in between 5 to 6 M was a very good replacement for the aging old high mileage local driven JDM Parados but not now at around 10M price tag.... Than its better to search for a V8 AXG 2009 onwards......

Fortuner is a dimwitted piece of garbage. Underpowered, uncomfortable and just a pos overall.

Went to the showroom again since I'm interested in booking one. The white they're offering in Grand carnival is different from the white of Sportage. It's similar to how XLi and Altis whites are different. The red seems really attractive but I'll have to see one for myself, till then Black is my pick. The infotainment system has Apple Carplay and the audio is pretty decent. Probably the best OEM in Pakistan. Right now they're not offering any upgrade packages like sports or luxury kits but they will, by the end of the year. The seat color is a bit different from the international variant and they could've chosen a more beige-ish tone instead of grey.
