he is wrong if he is targeting engine to live up-to 100,000KM, that is cheap of him to think that. Karachi alone has expanded so much that daily travelling of 50km is a norm. so he is targetting 2000km/ month with 4 years for a total of 100,000km. then what engine change?

Quoting scotty kilmer, then you should go through his recent videos in which he has repeatedly said that KIA today is not the same KIa from 10yrs ago, they have improved engineering and are more reliable than Hyundai, FIAT, Chevy, Chrysler or GM but in terms of reliability and build quality nothing beats a toyota or Honda !Thats what Scotty kilmer said.

I already said that in previous comment you might have missed.

I have lived a good part of my life overseas. I have experienced these korean cars. I quoted scotty because I knew people wouldn't take my word. People are getting their hopes too high. Their after sales service is worse than the japanese. Also if you expect a car to run just 100k kms than you are set, btw japanese and americans cars do 500k to million kms easily. I bought a holden commodore 3.8 ltr 2004 model at 200k kms in 2006 and sold it at 250k after 2 years and the car was still like new.

Holden commodore is probably the only reliable gm out there, maybe cos it was made in Australia. Their cars are scrap after a certain point

One thing in which KIA has really impresssed is making the FWD with full features just like AWD.... they didn’t behave like “چِندی چور” similar to Atlas and Indus... like fog lights,, knob chrome, mudflaps, steering controls would define variants and ppl but after market crap just to get basics...

Went to the KIA dealership in Lahore today. The Sportage parked there looks absolute CBU quality. The paint job is amazing as well as the interior finish. Couldn't believe that it was a CKD piece. They're now giving delivery in September and are booking at least 4-5 cars daily, according to them. Was amazed seeing the goodies like voice command, luxury climate control and panoramic sunroof being brought to Pakistan. The fog lamps could've been updated to the 4-window style. The car feels very airy and comfortable probably due to less cramping of seats. Not just Grande/Civic Turbo; the car seems to compete with the goodies of Fortuner with features like differential locking, drive modes and the infotainment unit's quality.

Kia sportage arrived in my Building it is FWD !
The guy works in KiA it is SKD unit.

I am not happy with KIA For doing this there should be some physical difference is AWD and FWD varients, only there is a badge on AWD on the driver side

Fortuner has a proper transfer case with a mechanical rear differential lock. Sportage has absolutely nothing of the sorts.
