Received a call for balance payment of Sportage. They are saying your car will be delivered in 30 Days.
Model: FWD.
Booking Date: 9th July 2021.
Expected Delivery Month: November 2021.

I finally received the call for balance payment today. Tentative delivery was in October but according to dealership I will receive it some time in November. Knowing them, I guess I will receive it either in last week of November or first week December.

Experts I need opinion please
Shouldn I go for Chinese PPF sheet for 45k or ceramic coat of Carpro quartz which also cost 45k

Good PPF will cost a lot more, probably around 200k. Don't get a substandard product, get the ceramic coating. Carpro quartz is one of the best. Where are you getting it from?

I am getting it from Gujranwala my main concern is scratch as scratches are much visibile in panthera metallic. How effective is ceramic coat against scratches?

It's only effective against very minor scratches. The main purpose is to preserve the paint quality, aging and shine, not to prevent scratches. If scratch resistance is what you want invest in good quality PPF.

Yeah not really worth it in my opinion. The best thing to do is get ceramic coating. Wash your car only with a proper car mitt and shampoo using the two bucket method, don't let anyone clean your car with any random kapra. Wax regularly to maintain your coating. Uss ke ilawa gaari tou chalni hai and inevitably you may get bumps and scratches too, nothing can be done about that.

No update for me. Which color did you book for alpha?

Congratulations. Hopefully I will get it some time in November. I think probably end of November considering they just asked me for the full payment.

Hyundai “south-Karachi” cheats by selling customers booked vehicles themselves on premium. They still haven’t delivered January booked Tucson.

Furthermore they also deals unfair to their customers & ruin the image of Hyundai Nishat.

Hyundai Nishat must take action in this regard..

Black and white are usually easier to get because of limited production of other colours. My friend booked Alpha in February with April delivery in Panthera Metal, in April they told him we have silver if you want otherwise further delay of 2 months so he took silver. Unfortunately they don't treat customers of different coloured cars equally.

Basically the booking agent told me that the car will get onto the production line after second payment and to expect delivery 30 days after the payment.

MashAllah I Have gotten call from the showroom. They said expect your alpha delivery on Wednesday or Thursday. My color is white

Congrats. Things are looking better now, it means production has resumed. Secondly, when you and @gryphus113 receive delivery, kindly check which infotainment they are providing in Alpha. In September KIA Lucky had advertised that Alpha would now get the same 8 inch infotainment as FWD/AWD, instead of the 7 inch one being delivered earlier.
