1) Electronic seats are so much better but not a necessity if there is only one driver
2)Nowhere and i mean literally nowhere in the North do you "need" an AWD system unless it has snowed
3)The brakes not comparing to a Civic is a very realistic problem due to the additional weight, I don't think anything compares to a Civic's brakes in our pkdm anyways but you get used to it.
4)I own an MG and if the massive lrice difference now isn't a problem then there is no comparison between the two cars
Realistically i get 9-10 kmpl from my MG but super sport mode pulls can bring it to even a 6 but then again driving on normal mode at 45-50 can even go as high as 12 but normally 9.5-10.5 is the overall realistic average.

Hello, yes if the car is locked and you keep the trunk release button pressed, hazards turn on twice and trunk can be manually opened while all 4 doors remain locked

my FWD is 1070kms driven, it gives 9.2km/l till 11.2km/l in city without aircon currently

My Civic X gives around 10.7km/l in city while my 2020 Grande gives around 11.4km/l in city, Sportage is still around 1070kms gives between 9.2 till 11.3 in city i guess it will increase as i drive with a light foot

1. My experience is a bit different. If I lock the car and remote is in my pocket, I can open the trunk manually. It has nothing to do with the trunk button on remote.

2. Also, one weird thing I noticed today. while driving if all the doors are locked, front doors can be opened by pulling the door lever from inside even though the doors were locked from inside.

@fazalwahab11375 have you done any research on sportage tires? These are useless... i saw cars under 10k kms and tires already looks rough and chipped off from different places.

My civic x 1.8 gives me 11.5+ kmpl city drive with AC on light foot.
Whereas, my sportage fwd gives between 10-11 kmpl city drive with AC on light foot (which imo is good considering 2L engine and size/weight of car)

So just got my second free service done.

Paid Rs. 8485 for Oil and Oil filter charges. Top wash was free however I got full wash so paid additional Rs. 1130 summing final total to 8485.

For their fixed service/labor charges of qtrly maintenance, they confirmed that it has to be mandatorily opted every time in case one wishes to retain the warranty (regardless of need of inspection). Any skipped service package and we may face issue in warranty claims!

They shared below indicative price schedule which may cost us for qtrly maintenance. Sharing as this might help new buyers.

At minimum it will cost 15K and can go up to 30K in case Cat cleaning and air/AC filters is added - which definitely is at higher side,

It is usually after 6 months or 5k kilometres whichever comes first. I am not sure why you are saying quarterly.

Ok thanks... i hope they move it to standard 6 months...i think it is totally unnecessary and wastage to change oil and all these services in 3 months.. i hardly drive 3k kilometers in 3months.

Likewise. my usage is 1K per month.

Even Honda is recommending and calling for qtrly maintenance for my civic x.
Personally, never heard of 6 months interval. Even from Suzuki as well.

Guys!

please help me to get rid of these minor yet irritating rattling noise. Car is single handedly and carefully driven just over 3.5k KM. Thou, noise is very minimal but irritating. I am clueless where are these coming from. And surprisingly, it happens rarely - like 25% of the drive time and that too only on slow speed, bricked road/parking lot or on cat eyes. Not always.

What i have observe, it is coming from:
1- rear side (either rear seats and/or trunk)
2- left side (either passenger door or mid pillar)
3- Front dash

Showed it to KIA and as usual, during test drive, only rear noise was there and nothing else. Thou they claimed that rear noise is fixed but not completely. It is reduced thou but still there.

Final verdict by KIA guy (based on assumption) was that it is coming from roof rail and they will fix it by dismounting roof inner and re-assemble it. Asking to drop car for two days.

My fear is:
1- They haven't heard the noise and yet assuming that its roof issue
2- If i let them play with my roof and things may get worse

P.S: Trunk, glove compartment, sun glasses compartment etc. completely empty

I’m facing a similar issue and left my car with Kia to fix it. First the noise was coming from the front left of the cabin. They say they fixed the trim and plastic cladding and it was gone for a day or two.
Now it is coming from the same place as well as the right B pillar. It is very minor so I will make my peace with it now.
Car carefully driven for 5.5K km only. 2.5K of it was last weeks trip to Lahore and back from Karachi. PS, sound was there before this.
I would suggest we stop going after these minor cabin noise issues as there is no expertise in their team to diagnose and fix these.

Toyota has 6 months time, i maintained corolla 1.6 by book for 40k kilometres... for only harsh conditions book suggest 3 months for 2.5k kms.

Let someone else drive and sit on the back seat to listen carefully... there could be many minor things which could cause this issue.

Just a question does anyone notice that upon starting the car odo shows 2-3km less in remaining fuel range, can it be that since its in eco mode or due to fuel quality?

If you are in lahore go to kia motors defence and meet with service advisor safdar. He is a gem person and expert in his field. He will definitely sort it out and you'll be more than happy

True not only Korean brands but also many European brands don't have good reliability... But you will still see old Toyotas chugging along and new 3-4 year old bimmers and Kias on the side of the road

That will be sad if we have to live with this. Car is only 4 months old.
