Salam all, this forum has been a very useful source of information and helped a lot in buying decision for me. Thanks to all of you for that. I was wondering how was the booking experience for those of you who have bought a sportage via a showroom?
I am not having a very good experience unfortunately so far. After making the full payment we were told that car would be delivered tentatively by 11th Nov and definitely not later than 15th Nov. Both of those dates have come and gone and now people at showroom are saying it will be this week. I am a bit reluctant to believe them as they are not giving any confirm date. Did any of you have any similar experience?

Hello PW Members,
I own a 2019 Civic but i am thinking about selling it and buying AWD Sportage. Before making a final decision I need to to know few things:
1. Acceleration time from 0 to 100 KM/H?
2. Top speed? (I have tested my Civic up to 205 KM/H)
3. Braking distance from 100 to 0?
4. Audio quality of sound system?
5. Road Noise/Engine Noise in the cabin, compared to Civic 2019
6. Last but not the least suspension quality? Sometimes i go to my village and Civic is simply amazing on that road.

Kindly share your experiences.

I have AWD
1. 0-100 almost 11 seconds check my video in above link
2.since my car is new I haven’t gone more than 140
3. Braking distance I haven’t measured in time but it’s pretty good braking system. Initially when i got the car the braking took some getting use to from civic xbut now after driving 1000 km i love it.
4.i use Apple CarPlay and system installed is pretty good and speaks are better than Civic x imo
5. Its waaayyyy better in cabin noise compared to civic. Very quite cabin and minimal engine noise
6. Suspension is better than Civic x for sure

Initially i paid booking and within 7days i paid rest and i got my car within 15 days total.

Thanks for getting back. We have made full payment since 2nd November we were told that we will get the car within a week of making full payment. And its almost 18 days already and even now we are not getting a proper answer from them when to actually expect it which is very frustrating!
Any suggestions what to do? The sales people at showrooms probably dont know much so dont think there is any point arguing with them!

I never did 0-100 of civic x but i think X would be a little faster for sure.

This issue happened with our FWD booking as well. We had to wait almost 3 weeks to get delivery. Kia are getting a lot of orders and manufacturing and delivery timing isn’t good
Just relax and no need to be angry. I know the frustration.

nope, its not quick as civicX as the weight of Sportage awd is a lot compare to civicX or Altis, acceleration is similar to Altis 1.6 a/t.
