My guess is if it happens we'll get either seltos or Sorento after cerato, an imported show piece stinger cbu + new imported carnival.

Can we install Tracker in Sportage? I was informed by KIA rep that it is considered a modification and if any problem happens due to tracker, KLM will not cover it in the warranty....But i guess that rule is same for every other manufacturer here but people still install trackers...

So can owners advise here what they have done when it came to tracker installation?

I also had an idea for added safety is that why shouldn't we get a cheap smartphone, plug in a sim in it with data, give a permanent power supply to the phone through some USB charging option enabled from the battery and enablr google location sharing in it, hide the smartphonr somewhere good in the car....

This way, you will always have location of the car, God Forbids if the car is stolen, thieves usually know where to remove tracker from but they wouldn't know about this setup, which will allow you to get the live location through Google location sharing as well as Law Enforcement can get location through sim as well...

What do you guys think?

Tracker can be installed but it will void warranty. Better stay away from tracker as everybody knows, aik gari ko aag bhi lag gayi thi

Woh bhee unho nay tracker par daal dea.. and KIA didn't say offically and clearly if it was tracker. If its tracker they should name the device clearly so consumer know about it..
Saying " one aftermarket device ".. does not solve the problem.
