AoA I have recently bought this car Can any person confirm if Kia has removed the wireless CarPlay feature from the infotainment in the current car models? And how is the road noise of the local tyre that comes with it after extended use.
Hey, can you please tell me the maintenance cost of the Kia Stonic? Also, after how many kilometers does the engine oil need to be changed, which oil are you using, and its approximate cost?
I had a early 24 stonic. It had only wired AA and CP. The head unit is physically different from what was initially available and also has inferior BT Radio. You can compare your HU to the one in reviews on PW and user reviews on PW and other channels. Look at reviews from around the time of launch. The newer unit has extra button(s) (IRRC).
Please check you car manual. i get periodic maintenance done from dealership every 5000 KM/6 Months.
It cost very nominal/similar as any other car/dealership (honda/toyota) etc.
i think it would be better if you switch your general tyres with Yokohama. it would serve you better over longer period of time.
What is the resale of Stonic? Can anyone give me an idea
it is not like swift or city even sportage for certain reasons. Best bet is to buy in used.
Its a really really nice car and surely superior than a swift. Also i didnt find it to be a slow sale. just depends on the car's condition and maintenance. Stonic has a strong market now.
I recently bought Kia Stonic EX+ (Nov 2024) It has 7000 km on it. When slowly accelerating at low speed I feel a little jerk almost like changing gear in a manual car. Is it due to 6-Speed automatic transmission or is there other underlying issue. This is my first conventional automatic transmission car so I don't know if they work like this or there is a problem and also if there is a issue would it be covered in warranty the car is maintained by Kia and no additional work is done to it. Thank you.
Its always like this .and small jerk also in picanto too which i had it
its normal all conventional auto boxes work like this.
Its normal but only in Stonic. It has a v v laggy transmission. Even picanto doesnt have this problem.
Well i do own the car AL HAMD U LILLAH and i have never found its transmission to be laggy at all ever. its very responsive. giving exceptional milage. very very comfy seats and suspension setup. its just the best hatch in the country right now by far.
Hassnain bhai when u drive it alongside swift/ city yaris, lag is clear... its a good ride, build and finish is also good but drive factor is not good. I have experienced its several time and even all owners have same feedback. no such lag was there in sportage/elantra
i don't feel any lag in the drive of Stonic. and it has a very soft and comfortable ride and very very good milage.
Mileage is better in CITY/Yaris and way better in swift and CVT is super smooth. However, Stonic is more comfy and well built, gives much better feel, no doubt.

Low beam are sufficient. High beam lights are a little too high and not on the road. Any way to adjust them?
there is a light adjustment switch on the right side of the dash along with traction control and tpms switch. you can adjust the ride height accordingly.
