I dint think they have added 6 airbags
I think Pakistani mistris in their factory didnt know how to remove the airbags from the imported parts of CKD. Thats why we are getting 6

buyers will have the option to choose Altis or its Special edition if they price it above Yaris and City. Almost everyone will choose a decked out corolla over a Stonic.

if people cared about money they wouldn't have been dying to buy chinese MG for over 6 million. People want shashkey, they increase their budgets to get better things. Also before the facelift this gen corolla was the ugliest car in our market, facelift made it less of an eye sore. Now this crown is on yasir atif's head.

Pakwheels Facebook main page , removes the KIA STONIC post with features. I think , things are NOT yet offical as far as features . The blog is there BUT feature list as well as clip art with comparison with Corolla is gone and no more on Facebook.

So manual will also be offered. That should decrease the starting price a bit.

But even this apparently basic variant has infotainment screen, steering controls and a bunch of buttons next to the driver so I guess we won't be getting a stripped out version just for the sake of lowering price.

Better build quality , good quality 16" alloy rims and imported tyres. If this all is offered in stonic , then they have every right to price it above 3.5 given how honda atlas is pricing its products.
The only downside will be that it wont sell much , as altis and civic will be there to compete it.

Maybe 6 airbags are only in first 100 imported units. CKD units might not get all the features of imported ones

What we keep forgetting is that in BRV, Stonic already has stiff competition. Yes, because it is fresh there will be market pull but how can we have the audacity to compare it with Corolla and Civic when BRV will be a better option if Stonic is priced higher than it?

Both BRV and Stonic have similar engine, BRV has a better transmission, better space and better economy at it peaks at 3.4m. Yes, Stonic at same price point will be competitive, but shouldn't at 3.5m+

Very true about BRV . Honda BRV is also starting to sell and is making it's place in the Pakistani auto market.So it would be crazy to choose Stonic over a better vehicle like BRV.

BRV has these problems otherwise I'd have bought it already.

Hard poor leather seats
Cheap plastic everywhere
Doesn't even have interior control lights like windows buttons, gear lever, steering controls etc
Suspension is hard like the old city
BRV current model is about to be replaced

Base model of this car is £18600 in UK. By that logic base model in Pakistan should be 43lacs +. Granted they will strip it a bit, i.e - no dab radio for Pak model. Pakistan should also launch with 1.0 ltr engine as they are doing in UK. It produces same bhp as 1.4 and is better and newer engine. Perhaps 1.4 engine in pak due to inferior petrol.
I have a Hyundai i30 (parent company to Kia) which i bought brand new in 2009 for £8,500 (including scrappage scheme) and it still going strong and that has the 1.4 engine.

If thats the case then all cars being sold in Pakistan are wrong. Any body who buys a Fortuner is a stupid person to spend 10 Million on it, when he can buy 3 BRVs for the same price.

BRV is a third class vehicle, stretched Honda Brio, In my opinion BRV is positioned even below Honda City.
