Getting 3 BRV comment is out of place.
Let me explain why the comparison makes sense. BRV is based on City and Fit whereas Stonic is a beefed up Rio.
Both Rio and Fit are comparable platforms. Their engine capacities, overall dimensions, power and everything else is comparable. So we are comparing Apples to Apples, unlike your example which is comparing Apples to Watermelon with the Fortuner example.
BRV may be pathetic, but to believe Stonic is far better than it, one has to wait for it to launch and come on the roads. For now, all we have is spec-sheet and it makes it more comparable to BRV than Civic or Corolla.
