want to made a correction, I didn't said un-stable rather its uncontrollable. the impact in case of a mishap even at 60km/hr is too much for a two wheeler. rest u can do anything, no one can stop you. just think for once that your beloved ones are waiting for you at home before doing such things.

rafeeq bhai no body is a racer or one wheeler here beside I found most of the riders on PW to be very secure rider and they keep all the counter measures intract while they are with there machines I really appriciate your concern of the consequences of high speed on road of Pakistan one is not even safe in car these days. but Thank you brother for concern.

beside let me introduce my self I am a PBC member (Pakistan Bikers Club) and we are bound to have proper ride and riding kits intact even if we are riding within our 'Mohalas' and we do trips and events to encourage riders to be a sane rider and if they want to enjoy with there machines they must do it in controlled environment and always have proper kit and good condition bike, we even are in contact with manufacturers constantly to give them feedback on how riding experience can be more secure and fun for people, further we are in Contact with S-Mile (railway police) and Lahore Traffic warden dept. to help them encourage riders to wear at least helmets and have side mirrors...

We are not against the theard or OP. We just want to see you guys happy healthy along with your bling bling rides instead broken legs/hands or missing limbs.

Thanks for such a nice reply, but brother I disagree with you still. Are there some roads other than motorway in Pakistan where one can ride bikes at 110km/hr without any kind of interference or chances of damage . . . . . ? (IMO, none of the bikes in Pakistan have ABS yet :P) I agree that members of PBC do care a lot while doing these things, but I seriously doubt that all of the guys here sharing their bike speeds are taking all preventive and safety measures before performing such acts.

i have to say something on the current scene of this thread,
this thread wasnt created for racing kind of activity rather it was for the actual speed on stock speedometer vs gps, coz lot of guys have still doubt that the stock speedo meters wont provide actual speed, so IMO this thread was created to measure the difference
but,
i will must say that the owner of several common bikes are well aware about the top(aproxx) speed of their bikes, and they do ride it at max top speed on their own risk, but when an event or a poster would be created like (SHARE YOUR BIKE,S GPS SPEED) then lot of guys would must go to achieve the max top speed on gps and also on the thread, while getting the max speed they would be in danger on public roads,
there isnt mention in thread that its a racing thread and one will be awarded whom, will go for max speed on stock bikes etc but its a human fault, when ever he would introduce himself he would must go for maximum, thanks

Well you shouldnt consider all the members.. I live near highway, and 90% of my travelling is on highway.. And riding bike on 100km/h seems so lame...

yaar, I was not expecting this from at least you. I think you recently had an accident and got some serious injuries while riding bike below 60km/hr (lines quoted from your own thread), would you kindly tell the impact if you were riding at 100km or plus ? These two wheelers rather all machines are not trust worthy as they can betray you any time (shared my personal experience in next post), so why to put your own life on danger . . . . . ?

I myself own a CG-125, approximately 2 years back while going to Khanna Pul from Faizabad, near Iqbal Town my bike's engine switched off after a huge jerk and bike's rear tyre made a zig zag pattern on main road from iqbal town to kuri road and the speed of the bike was around 85km/hr and I was just like k """aaj tou gaya""". a motorcyclist just stopped who was I think seeing all this from behind said "Bhai ghar jaa k sadqa daina, aaj kisi ke duain kaam aa gain aap k". after that day, whenever I try to accelerate my bike, my family especially my mother's face come infront of my eyes and us k baad saara josh automatically thanda ho jaata hai .

if i remember correctly, this thread was made to check the meter error of bikes ... and i agree, achieving insane top speeds without safety measurements should be discouraged at any point ... speed thrills but kills ..

You have a complete right to disagree Rafiq bhai but yes their are many roads with safe cruising even within city limits where biker can legally cruise at 100+ kmh but lets dump it ...

Your doubt is extremely correct and the only option we have is to advise them.
