Kindly suggest a good car under 6 lac budget

Resale is no issue here, I'm looking for good fuel economy and pocket-friendly maintenance, and last but not least the car should be "buy and drive".dont want to spend weekends with mechanic.

Not looking for mehran or carby cultus...
some guyz are suggesting civic 95,charade modified , baleno 2000 and cherry QQ..pl help i am confused...

6lac is a tight budget .. your only best option should be Alto vxr till 2010 model, with cng installed. Cherry QQ, santro etc will have lesser resale value. Don't go for modified cars untill you do it yourself, and for that, buy a car around 4 lac and swap a nice engine in it.

It is hard that you find an old car as "Buy and drive" and don't spend weekends with mechanics... There is always some "bekili" in car which you need to treat before it becomes reliable...

Best way to initially judge a car is to check the radiator, is it running on coolant or water? If coolant then the second thing is to check is if fan is auto and thermostat installed? If so, then it is most likely a reliable car and owner has kept well and maintained.

focus upon a locally made vehicle in Suzuki brand, with patience you can come across trouble free vehicle.

Carb version Suzuki vehicles from model year 2005 or earlier will fit into your budget

what do you call this thing,

if you call it bread, chapati, roti then sure you can make choice of a right vehicle to suit your budget.
If this is something else not known to us, you surely need help to select a car for yourself.

U can get
Mehran-low maintainence cost, nice fuel average
Cultus- above points plus spacious, comfortable
Alto-upgraded mehran (if u want to drive it on petrol or cng not available then please avoid it..i had a 07 model alto and my friends used to say "isay bech k prado lay le" due to high fuel consumption
U can also get baleno (very nice one but bit heavy on fuel 10,11kmpl with light foot) or margalla (cultus with trunk) but due to their old age be ready 4 frequent visits to mechanics.
Avoid 95 civic because u cant get a good one others are butchered and pain in a**. Charade,qq big no
P.s. try to get as new model as possible

Nice car but in this budget you cant get a proper clean and trouble free car.

You can get a car model between 1990-2004 maximum in this budget. Expecting any newer model is a big NO.
