aur interior sindh ke baare mein information na mil saki.....

shayad ke karachi pehle se hi itna discovered hai to us mai aisa kiya naya pan hai jis ko hum log share krein

aur interior sindh aik saadi se landscape hai is liye yahan ja ker kiya faida

If you're looking for some mountain trekking adventure, try the Katti Pahari trek in Karachi. It is a fine trek for an adventure. The trek is considered more difficult than K2 and Nanga Parbat, and is certainly worth trying!

ghar ki murgi daal barabar...this may not be the perfect example but I think it serves the purpose. For Karachiites, its home and for some odd reason there are many places still undiscovered, atleast for me. Why, maybe because I take it for granted that I live in Karachi and will eventually see the undiscovered places sooner or later. But frankly, we really dont at least I havnt made an effort.

In my humble opinion, some of the places to see are...Flag Staff House, Mohatta Palace, Frere Hall, Bagh Ibn-e- Qasim (and the old temple inside), Wazir Mansion, Khaliq Dina Hall, PAF & Naval Museum, Old Clifton, The Gyeser/fountain, Hindu Gymkhana, National Museum, Quaid's Mazar etc etc....many , many more do exist which I may not be aware of. Also, there are many places of interest for foodies which I'm sure my fellow PWs will enlighten us on

I'd try to list some places in Karachi, near Karachi and in interior Sindh that are worth visiting (especially for adventure lovers).

1. Manora Beach, Hawks Bay, Paradise Point, Cape Mount and several other beaches in Karachi.

3. Arabian Sea (perfect for fishing in open waters)
4. Keenjhar Lake (2nd Largest Lake of Pakistan, situated 125 km from Karachi on old national highway)
5. Haleji Lake (Near Keenjhar Lake, perfect spot for fishing and migratory bird watching in winter season).
6. Manchar Lake (Largest Lake of Pakistan, situated 306 km from Karachi, near Dadu)
7. Moen-Jo-Daro Ruins (Some 430 kms from Karachi near Larkana)
8. Bhanbore Ruins & Museum (Some 65 km from Karachi on old National Highway near Dhabeji)
9. Gorakh Hill (The Murree of Sindh, situated near Dadu)
10. Thar Desert (A perfect place to explore the desert)
11. Kotri Barrage, River Indus (Near Jamshoro & Hyderabad, perfect for fishing & boating)
12. Kot Diji Fort, another place for history lovers, situated near Khairpur)

Sir jee my thinking is that you are not wrong tht the interior sindh is good for vacations nor the people are wrong who says Karachi is good for outings. You both are not wrong because as a person live in a big developed city and bever enjoyed the pleasure full weather and life of avillage then he will love to enjoy the vacations in village out of his busy city. And enjoy pleasure full sights of great landscapes. And a person living in a village think and enjoy vice versa. He wanted to enjoy the life of developed people where the sunsets soon after the sunrise you are unaware of it when it rise and when it sets. I mean the day is soo short to caught.

But if you are only willing to discover some places for outing/ entertainments then the places mentioned above are some great places to visit. Even i have never visited there but they sounds gud

Yup the bloody dhaba wala opposite to that hotel (white builiding) also charge alot. Around three years we left visiting their due to higher rates if delicious palla, the rates of fuel are also too high and also the uncertain condition comes in our mind thats why..!

8. Mulakatyar just small village and mazar near hyderabad half an hour distance

9. Padd eden small village near noshero feroz route hyderabad to moro

11.mazar samandari baba i think bhut pursukoon jaga hai pure sindh me is tarah ka system nahi hai jaisa yaha hai tea any time lunch and dinner on time free of cost. Visit after asar

Dear Fawad,
Its an interesting point, you have raised. I don't know whether the motive behind this thread is to bring these places into lime light or just a scream out of frustration by seeing lots of threads on northern part of country.
But believe me every part of our beloved homeland, whether its snow caped mountains, golden harvest fields or deserts and sandy beaches, each one is so rich and colorful that you cant find anywhere else. All you have to do is just go out and discover. Or even if you can make it, try to travel by road from Karachi to north of Pakistan. Like Khalid bhai and we used to drive often. You will witness such diversification in landscapes that you cant imagine.
Khalid bhai will second my words that : "Believe me, Once you experience it. You will fell in love and will have an addiction to discover again.

Dear Fawad ! while talking about Karachi and its surrounding, gurus like Khalid bhai and other friends have already said so much that now its not much left to mention. But let me ask you some thing, the places these friends mentioned here, most of them are very easily accessible. How many of them you have visited in last couple of years ?

Moreover, can you tell me, how many times you have experienced ;

• Boating and bird watching in mangroves forest near Karachi.
• Crabbing and fishing near any deserted island or in open sea.
• A long walk along the sea.
• Recited a Fateha at Mazar e Quaid.
• Walk through Bin Qasim park to the sea side.
• Completed Adventure tasks at Go Aish adventure park (Safari park).
• Ibex watching and bonfire at Khirthar national park.
• Boat ride from the beautiful Korangi or Bin Qasim harbour.
• Scuba diving or cliff diving near Charna island.
• Greenery of Thar desert after rains.
• Boating or roaming at river Sindh.
• Watch sunrise at Gadani or cape mount.
• A romantic sunset at Port Grand.
• Star gazing in a dark night in a desert or a village.
• Visited fruit farms at Memon goth.
• Or mango farms near Hyderabad or Mirpurkhas.
  It is impossible to share the fragrance of sunrise at a Rose farm near Memon goth or Tando Jam.

Just tell me how many of them you have experienced. If not ! Then I have nothing to say !

But id like to share my interesting experience of Karachi
In 2003 i joined PICIC bank (NIB now) and for training moved to Karachi for a stay of 6 months
My first expression about Karachi was not good at all, all i could see was humid weather, too much congestion and litter, plus tarvelling in local transport was horrible experience
However i was lucky enough that my father sent me my car there, and it was after that i started exploring Karachi and dont know when i fell in love with it even so much that after 6 months i didnt want to go back.. I still miss sitting on sea view on weekends till 2 am in night.. got the chance to see Hawksbay, Gaddani, Keenjhar Lake.. and lots of restaurants and shopping malls.. Karachi has its own attraction

We already have a group in Karachi, have not given it a name yet... Members are by added if they follow few strict rules.

The group is about 4 years old.
