Next morning, I drove to Altit fort.. Same day our beloved PM "rental raja" was visiting attabad lake for inauguration of a tunnel.

Once you enter the fort area, you will be greeted with this lush green garden

As we entered the fort, the first thing we noticed was this structure. Guide said here the king walled his brother (like anarkali) as punishment for revealing security secrets to the enemies.

right next to sleeping area was a passage that leads to the bathroom. As advised by the guide this hole was commode of old days. Interesting or disgusting, what ever you call, is the fact that there was a pipe that was connecting the commode to the prison. When ever king and queen used the commode, "**** and urine" was transferred on the prisoners as a symbol of hate by the king and queen.....

This is the "watch" tower overlooking the hunza river, route used by external invadors from the China. At that time, kings of hunza and nagar valleys unite to fight with the invadors. Once they forced away the external invadors, then during free time hunza and nagar walay used to fight with each other.

Guide asked if I am interested to climb to the top of the tower.
