after more than an hour of joyful circling around the fort with a hope of "5th chukar pur mahboob aap kay kudmown mae" who will lead me inside the fort....... "chukarbazi" at last proved fruitful. A person appeared from some where and on my request returned back and after five minutes guide was there with a Rs. 150 ticket to show me inside the fort.

This is centuries old refrigerator built in one of the old walls of summar kitchen. Some how, they kept holes in the wall to allow cool air to circulate in this place. Freon gas of those days....

So after spending some good time inside the fort, I descended back to karimabad.
This is not "naali" but a part of intelligently designed water channels originating from ultar mountain range. This water is used for consumption and irrigation.
Next morning, after offering Fajr prayer I started my day very early with the intention of having an early morning views of nargar and hunza mountain ranges.
karimabad was still sleeping
in addition to stunning views of mountains, I also enjoyed free of cost "bird watching tour". All these rewards just because of a little effort of getting up so early
though i paid for this tour in nepal "bird watching along rapti river". tour guide was so proud when he spotted a kingfisher for us.
