@Ehalin, corolla will not touch the road. Just be careful after Jaglot there are under construction culverts and you have to cross these by undulating the car like a fish...it will not touch then.

The trip is doable in 4 days and to do it in this time span is a personal choice. I will not prefer...when I am out, my prime purpose is to unwind, change my routine...do not drive the way I drive to my office...prefer dinner at a spot on a deserted highway...mm alam road is not my choice then.

I would also like to spend as much time as possible. Becuase it is not only to unwind but there is a certain investment in it as well. But you know this "samaj" is very "zalim." There are always other pressing requirements i.e., job, school, family etc.

Next day was still cloudy. I started consuming my stock of food that was originally for camping. Also there are not so nice dinning facilities in karimabad, at least I could not find one. Or else it was offseason.

My Brunton pocket size folding stove was performing very well

After fajr prayer and light breakfast, I was ready to leave.

Pumped last can of Hi octane in the fuel tank and basanti started accelerating towards Besham.

Not an unusual demand for me.


Early this year an old man on the way to Khabeiki lake had ordered "mayrey foto chhick mayray oont dayy naal".


Year before last an uncle in front of a chuppal kabad shop in Abbottabad had required me "mayrey foto bunao". He seems to be techie person familiar with digicams as he asked me later "ub mujhay dekhao"<o:p></o:p>

As it was early morning, KKH was for me exclusively....my neighbors at KKH "trucks" might be resting with their drivers somewhere at truck dhabbas. Indus and the surroundings seem to be sleeping as well.<o:p></o:p>
