Dear folksHow r u all?I have a knocking issue when the car (05 carb )is on 2nd gear and speed is between 10 to 20km/hr on speed breakers specially. Frankly I don't shift the gear to first bcz it's not practical to shift on this speed.how to sort this issue? Will welcome your suggestions and surely had that issue in the past.
its a small engine, it requires first gear
First gear stuck on the speed of 10 km/hr. It shifts easily if the speed is lower than 10 or dead slow.
You either go slower in first or faster in second. Is the knocking there for a few seconds like a couple of knocks as you set off?

Yes not more than 3 or 4 knocks
Does the car jerk looks like egr needs cleaning or the carburettor needs cleaning.Does it knock when cold..

It knocks on the speed as I said up even in cold or warm.
Looks to me drive shaft CV boot does it knock when you steer left right if it does your CV gaiters are split need replacing
I only feel it when I slightly apply brake due to speed breakers. I don't hear any noise on turnings Alhamdolillah
thats normal, either change your driving style, or just bare it.
I would love to know how can I change or improve my driving to avoid this issue.I will appreciate if you suggest me some tips.
Either slow down to initiate first gear, if not then use half clutch to give the engine a slight rev while moving off the jump, that way it won't knock.
Thank youThis is my utmost priority to slow down the car for first gear.Half clutch would be a new experience for me.
Did you mention it knocks when you apply brakes check if the disks are dean with no debris
there is no knocking when I apply brakes for speed breakers. it starts knocking when i accelerate the car.it happens only when I am on 2nd gear. I have no issue on higher gears.
Looks to me the universal joints need replacing or engine and gearbox rubber mounting need replacing
Universal joints mean?Gear box rubber means gear bush? Actually recently I changed clutch plates so my mechanic opened the gear box and also drained oil and pour new one.
It's the mounting where the gearbox sits on and also the engine rubber bush sits on
I had this issue since long even before changing of clutch plates and gear oil change. I feel that it might be a bad fuel issue or I need to make my car kinda slow to at least can shift down the gear to first and then move.
No need to get anything done, just half clutch for a second will resolve your issue.
