There are fir trees in pictures. Is the weather at Kodaikanal as cool as Simla or Ooty? Whats the elevation? And then the most important question; Why didnt I know about this gorgeous place?

The weather is similar to Darjeeling. Kodaikanal is at an altitude of 2133 meters from sea level.It is cool to chilly daytime and cold at night, in summer.
