Better to go with somebody. Waisay harj nahi ha..
Isb-Dir (Any dir bound transport). From Dir, around 10am you will find public transport to THall. From thall you have to hire jeeps. From Thall, technically Kumrat Valley starts.
There is some Kala Chashma and Aaabshar and to visit upto most end of valley. Could be a day trip from Thall. We just went upto Kumrat Rest House, Some 5 Km from THall. The jeep track goes upto Y junction. some 25 Km from Thall. jeep trek is very rough.

I have doubt about the availability of hotels in Kumrat Valley.
There is 1 Rest house, but hotels ???????????????????????

there is a forest rest house at the start of Kumrat forest but one duznt need to stay there. there r many hotels in Tal where u can spend the nite and move forward to kumrat forest for day trip....
